It’s open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, though if you stop by during the wee hours, chances are the attractions, bars, and restaurants will be closed. Walk the Walk
If your legs aren’t too tired from working the show floor all day, you can just stroll down the Boardwalk itself. You’ll have a perfect view of the stunning beaches and ocean. Plus, you can people-watch and check out the architecture of the hotels and casinos that line the walkway. If you choose to pop into any of the shops or restaurants you’ll saunter past, treat yourself to a delightful refreshment or souvenir while you get a break from the weather outside.
Visit Steel Pier
If you have a full day to kill before or after your Atlantic City trade show, head over to The Steel Pier on the Boardwalk. This amusement park has plenty of rides and attractions, including:
- The Wheel, a 227-foot tall Ferris wheel with 40 gondolas that are temperature-controlled and can fit up to six people
- Bumper cars
- A swing carousel
- Stomach-dropping rides like Surf’s Up and the Flying Dutchman
- Helicopter rides that launch from the pier

Seeking some live entertainment? Check out Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall. The facility was built in 1929 as the local convention center before the ACC was constructed. It now serves as a concert and event venue, and has hosted iconic performers like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and Elton John. Six Boardwalk Casinos
You don’t have to go to trade shows in Las Vegas to enjoy a little gambling.
